REQUIREMENTS TO REQUEST PERMANENT RESIDENT PERMIT IN INVESTOR QUALITY OF THE FILM INDUSTRY AND AUDIOVISUAL
Article 217: “A foreigner who invests in the Industry may request this permit. Cinematographic, an amount exceeding one hundred and fifty thousand balboas (B/.150,000.00).”
1. Power of Attorney (notarized) and Request. The power of attorney must contain the name and nationality of the applicant's parents.
2. Three (3) photographs.
3. Duly verified copy of the passport (Notarized or Authenticated corresponding).
4. Criminal Record Certificate.
5. Health Certificate.
6. Check certified by B/.250.00 in favor of the National Treasury.
7. Certified Check for B/.800.00 in favor of the National Immigration Service.
8. Affidavit of Personal History Form.
9. Certification of the Technical Secretariat of the Film Commission of Panama, that proves:
a. The existence of the company and its location.
b. That the company is authorized under the special regime established in the Law of No. 36 of 2007.
10. Bank letter stating that the funds invested by the foreign, they come from abroad.
11. Proof of investment, which will be demonstrated by the presentation of at least two (2) of the following documents:
a. Copy of the duly registered sales contract or contract of leasing of the property where the company operates or has headquarters.
b. Commercial invoices for expenses incurred by the investor in the company accompanied by detailed inventory carried out by the Accountant Authorized Public.
c. Customs clearances of imported goods in the name of the companies or the investor.
REQUIREMENTS TO REQUEST DEFINITIVE PERMANENCE OF THE PERMIT AS A RESIDENT AS AN INDUSTRY INVESTOR CINEMATOGRAPHIC AND AUDIOVISUAL
To request permanence, in addition to the requirements mentioned in the numerals of the previous article, the applicant must provide:
1. National peace and quiet of income in favor of the company.
