REQUIREMENTS TO REQUEST PERMIT FOR HIRED PERSONNEL AS EXECUTIVES OF INTERNATIONAL COMPANIES, WHOSE FUNCTIONS HAVE EFFECTS ABROAD
Article 144: You may request permission from personnel hired as executives of international company, whose functions have effects abroad, the foreigner who enters the national territory temporarily as an executive or managerial-operational level representative of foreign companies of a international with subsidiary or representative offices in Panama that have a headquarters abroad, in accordance with the provisions of the Cabinet Decree 363 17 December 1970.
1. Power of Attorney (notarized) and Request. The power of attorney must contain the name and nationality of the applicant's parents.
2. Three (3) photographs.
3. Duly verified copy of the passport (Notarized or Authenticated corresponding).
4. Criminal Record Certificate.
5. Health Certificate.
6. Affidavit of Personal History Form.
7. Certification of the existence of the company in the country of origin or certificate issued by the Public Registry of Panama, certifying the registration of the mother company or the Panamanian subsidiary.
8. Bank reference letter issued by a local or international bank to favor of the parent company.
9. Work letter from the headquarters where it determines the following:
a. The position and functions of the applicant.
b. Salary that cannot be less than two balboas (B/.2,000.00) monthly and that it does not come from a source Panamanian.
c. Location of the subsidiary company from both the Republic of Panama and the headquarters abroad.
10. Prior to submitting the application for the Extension or Permit to temporary resident of personnel hired as company executives international organizations whose functions have effects abroad, the legal representative The petitioner must request an inspection from the office subsidiary or representation of the foreign company in the Republic of Panama in order to verify its existence in our country.
11. The parent company or subsidiary must be founded at least ten (10) years.
12. You must also provide financial statements for the last two (2) years of the headquarters or subsidiary in Panama.
