REQUIREMENTS TO APPLY FOR DOMESTIC WORKER VISA
Article No. 43: “You may apply for the domestic worker visa, the national or the temporary or permanent resident who hires a foreigner to work as domestic service worker, for a term of one (1) extendable year annually up to four (4) times, as long as it is maintained with the same employer and the foreigner comply with the requirements and responsibilities required the National Immigration Service.”
To apply for this visa, the foreigner must comply with the required formalities in article 28 of the Decree Law, except for numeral 4 and provide the following documents:
1. Power of Attorney (notarized) and Request. The power of attorney must contain the name and nationality of the applicant's parents.
2. Three (3) photographs.
3. Duly collated copy of the passport (Notary or Authenticated corresponding).
4. Criminal Record Certificate.
5. Health Certificate.
6. Affidavit of Personal History Form.
7. Copy (notarized or authenticated) of the Identity Document of the country of origin or residence permit, of the domestic.
8. Guarantee Deposit, on behalf of the employer, in favor of the Service National Migration Agency, for the sum of five hundred balboas (B/.500.00) per foreigner.
9. Payment for immigration service in the amount of one hundred balboas (B/. 100.00) to favor of the National Immigration Service.
10. Proof of receipt of public services, stating the location of the address in which the domestic service will be provided.
11. Proof of affiliation to the foreigner's Social Security Fund and copy of your license (in the case of last card extension).
12. Employer responsibility letter.
13. Employment contract.
14. Copy of the ID of the person responsible or the resident card (duly authenticated by corresponding authority).
15. Financial solvency of the person responsible, which may be accredited with any of the following documents:
16. Work letter with your file or proof of payment.
17. Income tax return with its respective peace and security.
18. Bank letter from a local bank (sealed by the bank).
19. Domestic Worker Form.
